WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Software Engineering Intern (May 2024 – Dec 2024)
    • Developed custom APIs using JavaScript to integrate data from external hardware into a frontend dashboard. Integrated with Apache Camel for routing and messaging (Postman, Java, Apache Camel).
    • Queried and transformed database records into structured formats for accurate frontend display using Python (MSSQL).
    • Built and deployed backend server tools to manage server accounts using shell scripting in a Linux environment.
    • Documentation for developer manual.
  • NUS Teaching Assistant (Apr 2024 – Aug 2024)
    • Teaching Assistant and Advisor for a NUS Software Engineering project called Orbital.
    • Taught and advised 12 teams, each consisting of two members.
    • Nominated for Advisor award.

    • In-charge of planning a cultural exchange trip for the students of CDE.

    • Participated in numerous local tournaments.
    • Runner up for AEF 2023.
    • Second in Inter Faculty Games.
  • Floats Head, NUS CDE (Dec 2022 – Aug 2023)
    • Led a big group of incoming year 1 students from CDE in a team of 6 to win Silver for RAG (Receiving and Giving), a 3-month long orientation programme that ended off with a stage performance.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Artemis (Highest Achievement Level, approx. top 9%) for Orbital which is an Independent Software Engineering Project.
  • Runner-up for Inter-house Badminton in JC
  • Silver Award for NUS RAG representing CDE
  • Second place Inter-Faculty Games for Esports 2022
  • 4th place out of 20 teams for Asian Esports Festival for League of Legends in 2023
